Rone Creek LLC was founded with a clear purpose — to create dependable, high-quality hatchets, axes, knives and other survival gear that honors the traditions of American craftsmanship. We are based in the Midwest, this company supports adventure, freedom and American values. Our work draws from the history of the frontier, when a reliable tool was an essential part of daily life.
We offer multiple product lines, including collections that are 100% made in the USA from American steel and leather, sourced through small, independent suppliers. Look for the 100% US made note in the description of these products. Other lines use carefully selected imported materials to deliver exceptional performance at a range of price points, without compromising our commitment to quality. If our hatchet heads aren’t made in the USA, they are imported from Germany or Italy.
Each item is hand finished in house on location to ensure unmatched quality - our goal is to wow our customers with each and every piece. We have collections made start to finish in house, from blade cutting, shaping and sharpening to a multi-coat lacquer to seal the handmade handles on each piece. Other items are sourced from our partners, altered, and offered for sale - each item description will tell the story where it was made and our involvement in it. Our leather sheaths are cut from full-grain 2mm-4mm hides, and hand riveted and reinforced to endure years of hard use, protecting the edge while reflecting the rugged character of the tools they carry.
